Maryam Nakhaie is an arty person who was born in Tehran in 1982. From a young age, she knew that she would pursue a career in design to allow her to bring together all of her strengths; determination and a growth mindset, enthusiasm and a positive attitude, creativity and a fascination for the field of art. So she graduated with a bachelor’s in Graphic Design in 2004.
Her interest in Architecture became focused when she moved to Italy in 2005 and continued her study at Universita’ degli studi di Roma “La Sapienza”. Here, she was given to chance to observe and appreciate the outstanding, beautiful structures and buildings that the city had to offer. Amidst all of this, she had the pleasure of collaboration with Prof Maurizio Caperna’s research group for writing and publishing a book on Restoration and Conservation of Architectural Heritage called ‘Guida alle esercitazioni nel Laboratorio di Restauro architettonico”, published 2012, ISBN 978-88-6514-131-1.
She has also seized the opportunity to participate in the workshop on “Environmental Design & Planning Analysis Workshop” with Prof Salvatore Dierna one of the first people to diffuse in Italian culture the concepts of Environmental Sustainability and Environmental Design (2011). Overall, this was a great experience as it highlighted to her the practical side, as well as the technical side of the profession, and gave her an insight into the life of an Architect.
In 2012, she has completed work experience through collaboration with H & MANOOSH ARCHITECTS/Tehran-Iran. Besides, 2014 was truly a transformation year for her by working on joint venture with Canadian Architects.pecializing in Design and Construction of high-rise buildings, including commercial and educational buildings; participated directly in projects such as TAT BANK headquarters.
The volume of work she did, was essential prerequisite for her success and achievements. Ultimately, her mission as a freelance architect has commenced since 2016 along with her solid architectural background. Her intention is to produce work to the highest standard at all times by offering total designs with an up-to-date academic foundation that enables her to provide high quality sets of architectural drawings, specifications and details for her clients. The opportunity to leave a lasting impact is a privilege, and she is gifted with this in every design that she has created by devoting her time, attention and knowledge.
